Christoph Jordan, a farmer, and his wife Katharina are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 53 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Biberstein in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Christoph Jordan came from the German village of Marisfeld.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Jordan family among the Volga German colonies.
