Konrad Jordan, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and children (Margaretha, age 13; Elisabeth, age 10½; Friedrich, age 9; Johann, age 6; Kaspar, age 4; Konrad, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard the ship Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
Konrad died after arriving in Russia. His widow Katharina remarried to Johann Grauberger, and they settled in the Volga German colony of Dietel on 1 July 1767.
The combined Jordan and Grauberger families are recorded on the 1767 census of Dietel in Household No. 21.
Friedrich Jordan (some translations erroneously record the surname as Erdan) from Dietel is recorded on the 1798 census of Hussenbach in Household No. Hs016.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Jordan came from the German region of Friedberg. The 1767 census records that the Jordan family came from the German village of Rickling near Frankfurt am Main.
