Jung (Bauer)
There were two Jung families that settled in the Volga German colony of Bauer on 20 July 1766. Their relationship to each other is not recorded, but they came from the same German village of Stahlberg in the Leiningen region.
(1) Johann Heinrich Jung (age 52), a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Johann Heinrich, age 20; Katharina Barbara, age 15; Anna Margaretha, age 3), are recorded on the 1767 census of Bauer in Household No. 32 along with his stepdaughter Maria Magdalena [surname not recorded] (age 12).
(2) Konrad Jung (age 6), son of the deceased Johann Heinrich Jung, and his sister Anna Margaretha Jung (age 26) are recorded on the 1767 census of Bauer in Household No. 33 along with Anna Margaretha's husband, Johann Martin Lenz.
