Jung (Schwab)
Johann Jost Jung & Anna Margaretha Wasmuth were married on 4 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Just Jung, a farmer, and his wife Anna arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Schwab on 8 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 3.
Johann Jost Jung and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schwab in Household No. Sb21.
The death of Johann Jost Jung in 1817 is recorded on the 1834 census of Schwab in Household No. 22.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Just Jung came from the German region of Isenburg while the 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Ranstadt.
