Georg Jurk, a farmer, his wife Susanna, his children [by his first wife] (Maria Dorothea, age 11; Johannes Martin, age 7), and children [by his second wife] (Johann Christian, age 4; Johann David Kaspar, age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Reinwald in Household No. 43. They had arrived in Reinwald on 14 July 1766.

Johann Martin Jurk and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Reinwald in Household No. Rw29.

Christian Jurk, presumed son of Georg Jurk, and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Reinwald in Household No. Rw37.

The 1767 census records that Georg Jurk came from the German village of Lippen in Sachsen (Saxony).
