Jakob König, a farmer, and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The 1767 census records that Jakob König came from the German village of Michelbach in the Kurmainz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this König family among the Volga German colonies.
