Kaiser (Krasnoyar)
Ludwig Kaiser, a farmer, his wife Susanna, and daughters (Margaretha, age 8; Maria, age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 114 along with orphan Margaretha Müller (age 16), daughter of Konrad Müller. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Kaiser and Müller families.
The 1798 census records in Household No. Ks005 that Nikolaus Kaiser, son of the deceased Ludwig Kaiser, is working in Reinwald, and that his brother Konrad is working in Katharinenstadt.
The 1767 census records that Ludwig Kaiser came from the German village of Marburg in the Hessen region.
