Johann Melchior Kaiser, and his wife Florentina settled in the Volga German colony of Rohleder on 14 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 23.

The 1767 census records that Johann Melchior Kaiser came from the German region of Würzburg while his wife Florentina came from the village of Kradalzau [?] in Poland.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Kaiser family among the Volga German colonies.
