There are two Kanzler families recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm. Their relationship to each other, if any, is not recorded.
(1) Johann Georg Kanzler, stepson of Gottfried Grimm, is recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 1.
(2) Sisters Eva Kanzler (age 12) and Maria Elisabeth Kanzler (age 7), stepdaughters of Johann Busch, are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 67.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kanzler family among the Volga German colonies.
