Widow Klara Kegler arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English barque named George under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Clara Kegler is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg in Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony they settled. [The Idt & Rauschenbaum publication of the Oranienbaum passenger list records that she went to Novgorod.]
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Klara Kegler came from the German region of Bern.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kegler family among the Volga German colonies.
