Heinrich Kell [sic], a physician, his wife Katharina, and children (Rudolph, age 21; Jakob, age 20; Friedrich, age 16; August, age 15; Ludwig, age 14; Augustina, age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Heinrich Kell [sic], his wife Catharina, and children (Rudolph, age 21; Jacob, age 20; Friedrich, age 16; August, age 15; Ludewig, age 14; Augustina, age 12) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Heinrich Keil, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and sons (Rudolf, age 22; Jakob, age 21; August, age 16; Ludwig, age 15) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Beauregard in Household No. 69 along with a note that they settled in the colony of Biberstein in 1768.
Katharina Keil from Biberstein and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Bettinger in Household No. Bt33.
Johann Martin Keil from Biberstein and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Zürich in Household No. Zr15.
The death of August Keil in 1821 is recorded on the 1834 census of Biberstein in Household No. 56.
The death in 1823 of Johannes Keil, son of August Keil, is recorded on the 1834 census of Biberstein in Household No. 63.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Kell [sic] came from the German region of Hagen. The 1767 census records that Heinrich Keil came from the German village of Haldorf in the Hannover region.
