Kenner (Grimm)*
Peter Kenner, a weaver, and his wife Elisabeth arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Grimm and are recorded there on the 1775 census in Household No. 78.
The 1798 census of Grimm records that Peter Kenner is working as a weaver in the colony of Galka.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Peter Kenner came from the German region of Herschfeld.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this Kenner family among the Volga German colonies.
