Discussion & Documentation
Nikolaus Kenzler, his wife Maria Katharina, daughter Barbara Katharina (age 7), son Konrad, daughter-in-law Katharina, and grandsons (Heinrich Wilhelm, age 2¼; Valentin, age 6 weeks) are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 83. Orphan Johann Friedrich Knippel (age 15) is also recorded in this household, but the census does not record a relationship between the Kenzler and Knippel families.
Valentin Kenzler is recorded on the 1798 census of Grimm in Household No. Gm105.
