Widow Anna Klein and her children (Wendelina, age 20; Heinrich, age 17; Johann, age 9; Wilhelmina, age 2¼) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Neptunus (Neptune) under the command of Skipper Johann Graap.
Widow Anna Margaretha Klein and her children (Wendelina, age 20; Heinrich, age 17½; Johann Philipp, age 8) are recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
It is not known in which colony they settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Widow Anna Klein came from the German region of Pfalz.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Klein family among the Volga German colonies.
