They had arrived in Worms on 21 September 1765.
Franz Kochum, a hunter (Jäger), his wife Elisabeth, and son Johannes (age 20) are recorded on the 1767 census of Volmer in Household No. 22. They arrived in Volmer on 18 July 1766.
The Worms list records that Franz Kochum came from the German village of Krantzdorff. The 1767 census records that Franz Iskam came from the German region of Biburg.
This surname has been recorded in various translations as Iskam or Ischom.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
