Krampf*
Friedrich Krampf, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.
Friederich Krampf is recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk on 19 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.
The 1767 census records that Friedrich Krampf came from the German village of Schlut in the region of Darmstadt. The Oranienbaum passenger list records that he came from Berlin.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
