Christoph Krieger, a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Shcherbakovka on 15 June 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 16.
The 1767 census records that Christoph Krieger came from the German village of Sulzfeld [believed to be the one in Baden-Württemberg, because other Shcherbakovka families came from there].
There are no known surviving male lines of this Krieger family among the Volga German colonies.
