Heinrich Kromberg, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and children (Hans, age 3; Anna, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 May 1766 aboard the galliot named Adler (Eagle) under the command of the Skipper Paul Adolph Drath.
Heinrich Kromberg (age 38), a farmer, his wife Maria Müller (age 36), and her [nephew] Nikolaus Müller (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dinkel in Household No. 15. They had arrived in Dinkel on 12 July 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Kromberg came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that Heinrich Kromberg came from the German village of Scherback in the Holstein region.
