Johann Conrad Kühn, son of Georg Heinrich & Maria Margaretha Kühn, was born in Semd on 13 June 1727 and baptized 15 June 1727. Elisabetha Margaretha Mohr, daughter of Hieronÿmy & Maria Catharina Mohr, was born 17 August 1728 and baptized 20 August 1728. Conrad and Elisabetha Margaretha married on 25 February 1755. They had five children, all born in Semd:  (1) Eva Elisabetha, born 4 October 1755, baptized 5 October 1755; (2) Johann Heinrich, born 19 February 1757, baptized 20 February 1757; (3) Helena, born 15 September 1759, baptized 16 September 1759; (4) Johann Nicolaus, born 7 September 1762, baptized 17 September 1762; and (5) Johann Michael, born 23 May 1764, baptized 25 May 1764.

Konrad Kühn, a farmer, his wife Margaretha, and children (Elisabeth, age 11½; Johann [Heinrich], age 10¼; Helena, age 5; [Johann] Nikolaus, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Kronstadt under the command of Lieutenant Samuel Gibbs.

Sons Johann Heinrich and Nikolaus and their families are recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Households No. Fk038 and Fk127 respectively.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Kühn came from the German region of Darmstadt.
