Discussion & Documentation

There are two Lampe families recorded in Orlovskaya.

(1) Orphan Lebrecht Lampe (age 6) is recorded on the 1767 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 65 along with the Georg Fischer family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Lampe and Fischer families.

In 1788, Wilhelm Lampe moved from Orlovskaya to Moscow.

(2) In 1769, Philipp Lampe "escaped" from Orlovskaya. Philipp Lampe is recorded on the 1798 census of Paulskaya in Household No. Pl69 along with a note that he is chronically ill and living with the Philipp Wormsbecher family. No relationship between the Lampe and Wormsbecher family is recorded.

The 1767 census does not record from where the Lampes came.
