Widower Friedrich Lehl and his children (Sibilla, age 19; Conrad, age 18) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard the pink Lev under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
Fridrich Löhl and his children (Sibilla, age 22; Conrad, age 20) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Norka. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 186.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Lehl was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a craftsman (Handwerker). Both documents record that Friedrich Lehl was from the German district of Isenburg.
