In 1792, Nikolaus Lei moved from Schuck to Volmer. Nikolaus Lei from Schuck and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Volmer in Household No. Vm13.

Johannes Lei from Volmer and his family are recorded on the 1857 census of Josefstal in Household No. 88 along with his brothers (Joseph, age 19; Wilhelm, age 13).
