Leidecker
There are two Leidecker families that settled in the Volga German colony of Chasselois on 2 August 1766. Their relationship is not recorded but they are believed to be father and son.
(1) Christoph Leidecker (age 48), a farmer, and his family are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32.
(2) Johann Leidecker (age 28), a farmer, and his wife Susanna are recorded on the 1767 census of Chasselois in Household No. 33.
This Johann is believed to be the same Konrad Leidecker who is recorded with his family on the 1798 census of Wittmann in Household No. Wm37.
The 1767 census records that both Christoph and Johann Leidecker came from the German region of Zweibrücken.
