Andreas Leisel, a farmer, and his wife Maria Johanna settled in the Volga German colony of Graf on 14 February 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 39.

Andreas Leisel from Graf is recorded on the 1798 census of Mariental in Household No. Mt33.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Leisel came from the German region of Burglengenfeld in the Kurpfalz region.
