Andreas Litauer, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Rosine, and daughter Louise (age 9-months) are recorded on the 1767 census of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Biberstein in 1768.

They had settled in Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767. The 1767 census records that Andreas Litauer came from the German village of Preetz [?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
