Discussion & Documentation

Christoph Londerhausen, a single cobbler (Schuster), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Diana under the command of Skipper Markus Draguhn.

Christoph Londershausen is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died en route.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christoph Londershausen came from the German region of Sachsen (Saxony).

There are no known surviving male lines of this Londershausen family among the Volga German colonies.
