Georg Lorenz, a farmer, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and son Johann (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna. They settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 77. Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Georg Lorenz came from the German region of Isenburg There are no known surviving male descendants of this family among the Volga German colonies.
