Luft (Beideck)
Johann Peter Luft, a farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Peter Luft, his wife Susanna Maria, and daughters (Eva Katharina, age 1½; Magdalena Friedrika, age ¼) are recorded on the 1775 census of Beideck in Household No. 38.
Peter Luft and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Beideck in Household No. Bd20.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Peter Luft came from the German region of Darmstadt.
