Möserburg
Johann Martin Möserburg [sic], a single cobbler (Schuhmacher), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 21 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig Mercurius under the command of Skipper Christian Heinrich Abelßen.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 16 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 42 along with his new wife Anna Barbara, the widow of Johann Adam Hilmann, and her children (Adam, age 18; Justina, age 12) [surname of Hilmann].
The 1767 census records that Johann Martin Möserburg came from the German region of Anhalt-Köthen.
