Discussion & Documentation
Friedrich Müller (age 13) is recorded on the 1767 census of Lauwe in Household No. 51 along with his stepfather Friedrich Stieglitz. A note accompanying the census records that Friedrich's father had fled ("Vater ist geflohen"). They had settled in Lauwe on 19 August 1767 and his unnamed mother died there on 9 November 1767.
The 1767 census does not record from where Friedrich Müller came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
