Orphan Samuel Müller is recorded on the 1767 census of Stahl am Tarlyk in Household No. 1 along with the Johannes Stahl family. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Müller and Stahl families. They had settled in Stahl am Tarlyk on 13 August 1767.
The 1767 census does not record from where Samuel Müller came.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
