Georg Balthasar Mehr, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and son Johann Georg (age 2) are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 56 along with his mother-in-law, Anna Maria Flom. They had settled in Dobrinka on 24 February 1766.
The 1767 census records that Georg Balthasar Mehr came from the German village of Epping in the region of Felzer [?].
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
