Jürgen Meier, a farmer, his wife Katharina, and son Johann Georg [sic] (age 10) are recorded on the 1767 census of Dobrinka in Household No. 11. They had settled in Dobrinka on 29 June 1764.
Johann Adam [sic] Meier and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dobrinka in Household No. Db26.
Johann Adam Meier is recorded on the 1835-1846 Dobrinka Communion Register in Household No. 99 where is birthdate is recorded as 19 November 1754 and birth location as Darumbach. His death in July 1837 is recorded on this same Communion Register.
The 1767 census records that Jürgen Meier came from the Austrian village of Darabach.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Meier family among the Volga German colonies.
