Meier (Grimm-1)*
Johannes Meier, his wife Ursula, and children ([Katharina] Salome, age 24; Ursula, age 22) immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) arriving in the city of Schleswig on 20 May 1761. They were dismissed from the Danish colonies on 1 May 1765.
Daughter Katharina Salome married widower Wilhelm Vogel. She and her parents are recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 60.
The Eichhorns record that Johannes Meier came from the German region of Württemberg.
There do not appear to be any surviving male descendant lines of this Meier family among the Volga German colonies.
