Christoph Meier and his wife Margaretha arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September aboard the galliot Der Jan under the command of Skipper Markus Dragun.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 27 June 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.
In 1788, Michael Meier moved from Rosenheim to Beauregard. In 1788, Christoph Meier and his family moved from Urbach to Rosenheim.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Christoph Meier came from the German region of Nürnberg.
