Georg Meier, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children (Thomas, age 11; Anna, age 7; Bartholomaus, age 3) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
Georg Meier, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Maria, and children (Thomas, age 12; Maria, age 9; Bartholomaus, age 6) are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Paulskaya in Household No. 84.
In 1795, widow Anna Bauer and her children, Johann & Anna Maria Maier, moved from Wittmann to Herzog. Johannes Meier, son of Thomas Meier, is recorded on the 1798 census of Herzog in Household No. Hz26 along with a note that he is living in Louis.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Meier came from the German region of Pfalz. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Dansenberg [?] in the Pfalz region.
