Johann Heinrich Mosebach, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Andreas, age 15; Johann Heinrich, age 12) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 September 1766 aboard the Russian galliot Strelna under the command of Lieutenant Sornev.

Heinrich Mosebach, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth, and sons (Andreas, age 15; Johann Heinrich, age 13) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 138. They had settled in Norka on 15 August 1767.

Heinrich Mosebach and his family are recorded on the 1811 census of Norka in Household No. 84.

Brothers Georg Karl & Andreas Mosebach, sons of Heinrich Mosebach, are recorded on the 1811 census of Norka in Household No. 84 along with a note that they relocated to the colony of Bettinger [year not recorded].

Georg Karl Mosebach and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Bettinger in Household No. 53.

Andreas Mosebach and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Bettinger in Household No. 123.

Heinrich Mosebach from Norka is recorded on the 1834 census of Biberstein in Household No. 40.

By 1857, Georg Mosebach from Norka was living in the Volga German daughter colony of Neu-Yagodnaya.

Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Heinrich Mosebach came from the German district of Hessen.
