Discussion & Documentation
Johann Heinrich Müller, a tailor (Schneider), and his wife Elisabeth are recorded on a list of Beauregard recruits appended to the 1767 census along with a note that they settled in the colony of Wittmann in 1768.
The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Müller came from the German village of Kerzenheim.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Müller family among the Volga German colonies.
