Christian Munsch, a miller (Müller), and his wife Elisabeth settled in the Volga German colony of Schönchen on 17 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.
The 1767 census records that Christian Munsch came from the German village of Helferskirchen.
