Ludwig Orsulet, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Johann Philipp, age 15; Anna Katharina, age 10; Anna Dorothea, age 6) settled in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 29 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.
The 1767 census records that Ludwig Orsulet came from the German region of Isenburg.
