Ludwig Ursulet [sic], a stocking maker (Strumpfwirker), his wife Anna, and children (Johann, age 13; Anna, age 8; Dorothea, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 August 1766 aboard a galliot named Die Vergoldete Weintraube (The Guilded Grape) under the command of Skipper Joachim Hermann Andersen.
Ludwig Orsulet, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and children (Johann Philipp, age 15; Anna Katharina, age 10; Anna Dorothea, age 6) arrived in the Volga German colony of Kutter on 29 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 61.
Both the Oranienbaum and the 1767 census record that Ludwig Orsulet came from the German region of Isenburg.
