Johann Friedrich Otto, a single farmer, is recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Nieder-Monjou in Household No. 85 along with a note that he settled in the colony of Orlovskaya in 1768.

Friedrich Otto and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. Or27.

The 1767 census records that Johann Friedrich Otto came from the German village of Sollnitz [?].
