Pfeif (Frank)
Johann Heinrich Pfeif, a farmer, his wife Christina, and children (Johannetta, age 18; Johann Georg, age 14; Magdalena, age 9; Johann Konrad, age 5) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
Johann Henrich Pfeiff, his wife Christina, and children (Honnetta, age 18; Joh. Georg, age 13; Magdalena, age 11; Conradt, age 5) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that daughter Honnetta died en route.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 43.
The 1767 census records that Johann Heinrich Pfeif came from the German village of Bonbach [?] near Sulz in the Lobbach region.
