Georg Pikus, his wife Dorothea, and son Christian immigrated to Russia. Georg died, and his widow remarried to Christian Hendel and is recorded along with son Christian on the 1767 census of Grimm in Household No. 32.

Christian Pikus is recorded on the 1775 census of Grimm in Household No. 20.

The 1767 census records that he came from the German region of Pommern (Pomerania).
