Andreas Nikolaus Pilner, a linen weaver (Leineweber), his wife Louisa, and son Friedrich (age 11) are recorded on the 1767 census of Orlovskaya in Household No. 64. They had settled there on 3 August 1767.

The 1767 census records that Andreas Nikolaus Pilner came from the German village of Silkerode.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
