Pommer (Jost)
Adam Pommer, a weaver (Weber), his wife Margaretha, and children (Johann, age 12; Julianna, age 10; Ernst, age 5; Sophia, age 4) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the ship Mann und Frau under the command of Skipper Daniel Berg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Jost on 5 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9.
The 1767 census records that Adam Pommer came from the German village of Hobeck in the Sachsen (Saxony) region.
