Two Pracht families from Grünberg arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 7 May 1766 aboard the galliot named Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Heyer. They both arrived in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 5 March 1767. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.
(1) Johann Martin Pracht, a sheepskin tanner, his wife Anna, and children (Christian, age 16¼; Maria, age 13; Anna, age 10¼; Johannes, age 7; Philipp, age 5; Martin, age 3; Kaspar, age 1¼) arrived in Oranienbaum.
Johann Martin Pracht (age 43), a sheepskin tanner (Schaffelgerber), his wife Anna Gertrude (age 36), and children (Christian, age 18; Maria Katharina, age 14; Johannes, age 8; Philipp, age 6; Martin, age 4; Kaspar, age 2) are recorded on the 1767 census in Household No. 30.
Christian Pracht and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Biberstein in Household No. Bb22.
Katharina Soltner née Pracht and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka027.
Kaspar Pracht and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Biberstein in Household No. Bb23.
In 1794, Karl Ludwig Pracht moved from Biberstein to Näb.

(2) Johann Pracht, a sheepskin tanner, his wife Anna, and children (Anna, age 8; Nikolaus, age 6; Johann, age 4; Katharina, age 2) arrived in Oranienbaum.
Johann Pracht (age 36), a sheepskin tanner (Schaffelgerber), his wife Anna (age 38), children (Anna, age 8; Nikolaus, age 6; Johann, age 5), and step-children (Elisabeth Werner, age 14; Christoph Werner, age 5) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 76. Anna is the widow of Nikolaus Werner who also had arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 7 May 1766 aboard the galliot named Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Daniel Heyer.
Johannes Pracht (age 44), a dyer (Färber), his wife Elisabeth née Grünemeier [age not recorded], and children (Christian Adolph, age 9; Anna Maria, age 6; Johann Friedrich, age 2½) are recorded on the 1776 Katharinenstadt Grundbuch [Land Register] in Household No. 88 along with a note that they are Beurlaubt [on leave] in Orenburg.
The 1776 Katharinenstadt Land Register records that Elisabeth née Grünemeier came from the German village of Bühren near Paderborn.
Johannes Pracht and his son Nikolaus and their families are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka086.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that these families came from the German village from Grünberg.
