Röder (Messer)
Johann Adam Röder, a farmer, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum aboard the Russian galliot Citadel under the command of Midshipman Gregory Bukharin.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 14 September 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 91.
By 1798, Adam Röder's widow and their children are living in the colony of Bauer and are recorded there on the 1798 census in Households No. Br05 & Br07.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johann Adam Röder came from the German district of Isenburg.
