There are two Römer families who arrived in Lübeck together in 1766 and travelled together from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs further research.

(1) Johann Römer, a farmer, and his wife Barbara arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Johannes Römer and his wife Barbara are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

It is not known in which colony this Römer family settled.

(2) Adam Römer, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 10 August 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Nikolaus Peter Pink.

Adam Römer and his wife Katharina are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that he died in route.

It is not known in which colony Widow Katharina Römer settled.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that both Johann Römer and Adam Römer came from the German region of Mainz.
