Daniel Rausch, a single man, settled in the Volga German colony of Boisroux on 3 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 95.

The 1767 census records that Daniel Rausch came from the German village of Gerestam [Geretsham?].

There are no known surviving male lines of this Rausch family among the Volga German colonies.
