Reis (Semenovka)
Johann Heinrich Reis, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and daughter Anna Kunigunda (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766 aboard the galliot Die Perle under the command of Skipper Thomson.
Johann Henrich Reiss [sic], his wife Cathrina, and daughter Cunigunda (age ¾) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Johann Heinrich Reis, a farmer, and his wife, Katharina, settled in the Volga German colony of Semenovka on 24 July 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 33.
The Ornanienbaum passenger list records that Johann Heinrich Reis came from the German region of Fulda. The 1767 census records that they came from the German village of Bronnzell near Fulda.
